ABOUT SPARCC

Why we built this network

Paediatric health professions education research in Canada is a growing field — but it remains fragmented. Researchers and clinicians are tackling similar questions in isolation, without shared data, shared methodology, or shared community.

SPARCC was founded on a simple premise: the quality of paediatric training depends on the quality of evidence that informs it. And generating that evidence requires collaboration at a national scale.

We are not a formal institution. We are a network of scholars, clinicians, trainees, and educators who believe that connecting people across contexts and career stages is itself a form of research infrastructure.
